The region of Vasilikos, surrounding Vasilikos Village, is a charming
rural holiday option in Zakynthos. This southern area of Zante island is
filled with olive groves and bougainvillea flowers throughout the summer
months. Here you can enjoy beautiful, golden sand beaches, idyllic rural
tavernas and peaceful summer evenings.

Located within Vasilikos Village there are a few shops where you can
buy everything from essential holiday items, to food and souvenirs. In
the centre of the Village you wont be able to miss the Coffee House
one of our favourite places to stop and eat in Vasilikos. Yiannis at the
Coffee House makes delicious food and coffees at really affordable
prices. Next door to the Coffee House is the Vasilikos Village Store
where you can buy home-made Hummus and other delicious Greek treats!
Of course, during your holiday in Vasilikos you will spend much of your
time relaxing at the beach and swimming in the crystal clear seas.
Banana Beach is the closest beach to Vasilikos Village. This beautiful
beach is one of the longest on the island; with just a few relax bars
dotted along to provide refreshments and snacks during the day. There
are sunbeds and umbrellas along the beach, but it retains a spacious
feel throughout the summer.
You will enjoy swimming, sunbathing and sea sports at the beaches in
Vasilikos. Apart from Banana Beach there are a number of other beaches
in the Vasilikos region. You can choose from Porto Zorro, Banana Beach,
St Nicholas, Porto Roma, Gerekas and Dafni all a short drive from each
other.
