ZANTE SITES - THE KAMPI CROSS
Along the middle of the West Coast of the island, the famous cliffs of
Kampi are a really spectacular site. With dramatic cliff drops down to
the sea, and sparkling blue waters below, this is a really beautiful
place to stop off during your tour of the west coast.
There is a large white cross on the cliff tops at Kampi. The cross is
made of white stone and stands in memory of all those who lost their
lives during the years of occupation on the island.
You can visit the village of Kampi by day and evening, and enjoy a
traditional Greek meal at the wonderful tavernas.
Sunset here is a real treat. We always enjoy an evening meal at one
of the Kampi restaurants while the sunsets over the west coast cliffs.
This is a gorgeous Greek Island holiday experience.
