During your holiday in Zakynthos, you will have the chance to take a
number of boat trips to explore the different regions and coastlines.
The prices are really affordable – so if you are here with a family you
should be able to fit a boat trip into your stay.
The coastline of Zante is really varied with plenty to see and do.
The Blue Caves, Keri Caves and Marathonisi Island are the three most
popular boat trip destinations – all of which are real holiday treats!
In all of the main resorts in Zakynthos you will find agencies and
travel offices from where you can purchase tickets for a variety of
organized boat trips in Zakynthos. You can choose between a number of
different places to visit, as well as different companies to travel
with.
Alternatively, you can hire a car and take local boat trips from the
various regions. For the Blue Caves and Shipwreck you can take a boat
from the Lighthouse at Skinari, and for the Keri Caves and Marathonisi
Island there is a great boat trip from the Gloria Maris Hotel at Porto
Koukla.
The great thing about doing it this way is that you get really
personal services, smaller boats, and more flexible trips – enabling you
to get off and swim, and spend as much time around the main attractions
as possible.
There are also options to travel a little further afield during your
holiday in Zante by embarking on combined daily tours by bus and ferry
to Kefalonia, Olympia, and even Athens. Tickets can be booked in
agencies all over the island!
