The traditional Zakynthian seaside village of Limni Keri, situated in
the south west of Zakynthos, Zante in teh Greek islands is a charming spot for a holiday
in Zante or even
just to spend the day.
The beach here is pebbly, but there are plenty of sunbeds where you can get comfy during the day.
Keri Boat trips
The Zante beach at Keri is a popular departure point for
boat trips
to the Keri Caves in Zante and also boat trips to the very lovely Marathonisi island.
Limni Keri Village is the closest spot to
depart for the spectacular Keri Caves. The huge white cliffs in the Keri
region are really quite spectacular and well worth a boat trip!
There is a great diving center at Limni Keri. From here you can try a
supervised deep sea dive, combined with a diving boat excursion to the
Keri Caves.
The Zante traditional Village of Limni Keri, which means Keri Lake, is situated on a
pebbly beach on the South West Coast of the Island. The Village is about
20 kilometres from
Zante Town – this distance from the centre of the
island has helped to ensure that it remains a rather quiet and sleepy
resort, even in the peak months of August.
There is no longer at Lake at Keri, it has long since dried up, but
there is plenty of charm and still a lovely place for a Greek Island
holiday. There are a number of apartments and villas for rent in this
area, perfect for families looking for a peaceful summer holiday away
from the crowds.

There are no beach bars along Keri Beach, but a number of shops and
restaurants have developed here. You can choose to have fresh fish right
on the sea here at Keri Beach, a delicious Greek Island holiday treat!
The small harbour at Keri is an extremely pretty spot, with charming
little benches where you can sit and watch the boats rolling in. There
are a number of Greek fishing boats moored here, giving the village a
really traditional Greek Island feel.
